Reclaimed Salvaged Recycled Copper from the ship wreck 'RMS Mulheim', that ran a ground at Lands End, Cornwall in 2003 the bracelet is hand forged from salvaged earthing copper. All our bracelets are aged in a natural solution to give them a verdigris patina effect. The bracelets have been weathered by the sea and the elements over 20 plus years.

Bracelet Size Approx: 13mm Width x 150mm Length x 1.2mm Thickness

The natural aging from the weather and the damage caused from the accident creates a very different, organic patina on all the bracelets. No two are the same. Only 50 bracelets of this range have been created, which makes them totally unique.

Each piece is sealed in a lacquer to protect it's finish and to protect from harmful UV rays . However, to preserve the patina it is best not to wear the bracelet whilst swimming, bathing, surfing etc. Please keep chemicals (perfumes / body lotions / aftershaves / sun lotions) away from the bracelet, to preserve it's finish.

All our items are dispatched next working day.

'In holistic medicine, copper claims to have many health benefits: 'Copper has been used to promote health in various ways since ancient times. The ancient Egyptians used it to purify water for drinking, and cultures around the world used it as a form of medicine for such afflictions as sore throat, eye infections, and skin conditions. It was also applied to wounds to prevent infection. In the modern era, copper was discovered to have anti-microbial properties which made it well suited for its ancient uses. Copper can be used on surfaces or woven into fabrics to prevent the spread of bacteria.'
